Our FCRE Advocate, published four times annually, brings you news of upcoming FCRE activities and programs. The Advocate features articles on your health benefits, health care, and federal, state, and local legislative actions of concern to retirees. The newsletter also contains information about travel opportunities, exhibits, consumer awareness, finance, etc.
MEMBER ACTIVITIES
Special member activity groups include film screenings, book discussions, investment groups, afternoon teas, bridge, and any activity that members organize. These activities are always a great way to connect with former colleagues and to meet new friends.
Luncheon meetings
Meet your friends on the second Thursday of October, December, March and June at luncheon meetings at the Elks Lodge in Fairfax, VA. These meetings feature a variety of programs of entertainment, noted speakers, and activities
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS TEAM
Pension and health premium benefit increases earned by FCRE legislative action, both locally and in the Virginia legislature, benefit all retirees under the Virginia Retirement System (VRS), the Educational Retirement Fairfax County (ERFC) and Fairfax County Employees Retirement System (FCERS).
