Member Activities

Brion's Grill Bridge Group and Dave Meadow's Review Bridge Group will NOT be meeting on December 26.

Nominating Committee

Please consider serving on the Nominating Committee. We need 5-7 members to serve on this committee to come up with a slate of officers (for Vice President and Secretary only) to be filled for the 2012-2013 year. Selection of nominees to this committee will take place during the business portion of the December 8 luncheon meeting.

Scholarship Committee

The W. Harold Ford Scholarship Foundation needs a few more members to evaluate applicants for scholarships. You do not need to be a retired English teacher to participate! You only need to have an interest in supporting Fairfax County graduating seniors who want to become educators. If you are interested, please contact Isobel Rahn at (Isobel dot Rahn at gmail dot com).

New - gifts of stock are now being accepted as a donation to the W. Harold Ford Scholarship Fund. Such a gift reduces your taxes and you avoid paying additional capital gains taxes. Contact Isobel for more information.
